I just started reading this book to my kids - I actually got it out for Neve (who is 6, but a very advanced reader, and ... well, she likes pink these days, and when she saw the pink sweater on the cover, she wanted it ... hey, there are worse ways to choose books!) to read to herself, and she started it, and I picked it up, and the first two sentences sucked me RIGHT in:

A cute, simple story of siblings getting mixed up in the Snow White story. Nothing original, but something that would appeal to younger readers dipping their toes into fairy tale-related chapter books.

I read this book 1 chapter at a time to my 3-year-old. She isn't much into princesses, so it took a while. I need to get a book about pirates or poop or dragons or something. That's more her style.

It was cute, but REALLY basic and pretty silly. *shrugs* VERY young chapter book.

A sparkly fractured version of Snow White. A fun read for a tween, but without the darkness of the original fairy tale, it has no emotional impact.
