I'm so repulsed by the content and subject matter of this book. I'm glad it ended the way it did but I can't get over the ick. I really have no idea why a book like this even needs to be written.

3 1/2, shading to 4 because I think that the half point down is more because this is not usually my kind of book. But the creepiness, the unlikeable narrator that I'm still rooting for, the mystery that is only nominally the purpose of the book.
