This was a book that had been on Mount TBR for a long time and I finally decided it was just the type of Octoberish story that I wanted to read. Maybe not quite as good as The Forgotten Gardenbut pretty darn close. You can't beat stories built around the London Blitz, and this was a page-turner of a mystery. Kate Morton is my favorite new author.

Oh man all through I was like this is WORK I don't feel like all the back and forth with yesteryear and today and then by the last 40 pages I was chugging through, burning to know what happened, I ended up REALLY LIKING what a surprise!!!!!!
