An entertaining, suspenseful read for sure. I did find it hard to believe-the one dimensional evil husband and the way he was able to take over her life. You just have to accept her circumstances even if it feels far-fetched. They live in the same area. She had people who could disprove his invented narrative. But, at the same time, this is the life of battered, mental and/or physical, women. It felt like an episode of 48 hours. At least it has a satisfying ending.
