What Members Thought
This was a one-star book for at least the first 3/4. It was like a laundry list of overdone YA cliches. The heroine is specialer than all her friends! She has people who are friends with her despite the fact that they share absolutely zero common interests or views on their culture! These friends only exist to take her places and move the story along, and she never thinks about them otherwise! She is the only one in her entire social sphere who really GETS music, you guys!

It's rare that I finish a YA book and hope for a sequel - after enjoying Rutkoski's Kronos Chronicles, I'm excited to see where she takes these characters.
