Although the start is slow, this turns into a great historical adventure story. Jack and Kate are thrown back to 1763 and encounter a fantastic cast of characters in their efforts to get back to the 21st century. They must deal with a world full of highwaymen, footpads, elaborate dress, bad food, cutpurses, treachery, horrific prisons, and hangings.
