I struggled to get into the story. It's a pretty rough beginning that's rushed and sloppy. It gets better and becomes a pretty fun read, although it's never going to be considered great literature. It also needs a better proofreader. I will eventually get around to continuing the series, if I happen to catch the other books on sale.
