`Stray` is a pretty perfect airplane book: fast and full of action, just a little bit of the sexy times, and no serious brain power required. Unfortunately, like many brain-free books, once you do start thinking about them everything falls apart.

Whiny MC figures out her life
By realizing that she isn’t a teenager and expectations and rules exist for a reason. Spent the first half of the book wanting to strangle her — and I’ll be honest, if I hadn’t flipped to the end and read the last few pages, would not have finished — and the second half waiting for the end. She clearly had good instincts, bones and training — just a complete inability to understand others.
By realizing that she isn’t a teenager and expectations and rules exist for a reason.
