`Stray` is a pretty perfect airplane book: fast and full of action, just a little bit of the sexy times, and no serious brain power required. Unfortunately, like many brain-free books, once you do start thinking about them everything falls apart.

Whiny MC figures out her life
By realizing that she isn’t a teenager and expectations and rules exist for a reason. Spent the first half of the book wanting to strangle her — and I’ll be honest, if I hadn’t flipped to the end and read the last few pages, would not have finished — and the second half waiting for the end. She clearly had good instincts, bones and training — just a complete inability to understand others.

The Shifters series by Rachel Vincent is amazing. I definitely think the first few books are better than the last ones in the series but nevertheless it is a series I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Faythe and Marc are great characters who I love reading about.
