Well! I just listened to the audiobook version of this like 2-3 weeks ago (again... March 2013), so this is a LOT fresher in my mind than other books I'm attempting to review! SEBASTIAN!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE HIM!!!! He's freaking awesome! I think I said what I needed to say in 2010, but MAN, I love Sebastian. And his uncle is SO GICKY! *shudders* Blegh! Plus, I loved seeing Olivia and Harry again! :)

A lighthearted Regency romance that concentrates more on the characters than the manners or the sex--which I appreciate.
Annabel has aristocratic relatives, but is penniless herself. I can see the appeal of Julia Quinn and she does have witty characters. But this didn't feel true to period to me--it felt like contemporaries in Regency dress. So, sticklers would not approve.

Oh, it's awfully nice to have a new Julia Quinn book in my life. Funny, fluffy, and very satisfying.
