Change of life supernatural realism mystery with a recovering addict. I'd recommend to fans of Ellen Hopkins for the peering into the mind of an addict and meeting teen situations headon. Or the series' that Meg Cabot wrote as Jenny Carroll for the supernatural and kick butt heroine. It might also work for an edgier Sarah Dessen or Maureen Johnson fan. Debut novel by Michigan raised author.
