Oh my god, this book left me a blubbering mess in the middle of the night. So good though.
Some parts were well done - Finch's development, and I believed Violet's attraction to him, but I was also distracted by some stilted dialogue, Violet's quick change from the bell tower to being willing to ride in a car, and a few other little things. I can't decide if Finch's family was believably disfunctional or if his mom in particular was just too much. Violet's parents felt a little too textbook to be true.
