I'm a big fan of history and mysteries, so I thought this would be perfect. I think for some this book might be a disappointment in that there is no complete answer to the puzzle--but that's a function of the lack of forensic science of the time, and the limitations of detective work.

This is, quite honestly, the most boring book I have ever attempted to read. I started it over a year ago and cannot seem to bring myself to try and find the desire to finish it. True crime books are, usually, my favorite genre to read. This book, though, hasn't managed to make me feel ANYTHING for the characters in it by 121 pages in. By now, I should be dying to find out who murdered poor little Saville Kent. But I just can't seem to figure out how to WANT to finish this book to find out.
