Jojo Moyes gets better and better. This was the perfect book to read while hanging out in hospital rooms, because it absorbed me so thoroughly that it helped distract me from worrying about my husband's ill health.
Her characterizations are simultaneously hilarious, heartbreaking and always spot-on. Her stories drag you in instantly. I hope she keeps writing for a long, long time. ...more

Yes, me and everyone else, we liked this. I felt manipulated, and an awful lot of plot points depended on the dog, but I didn't care.

Another great one from Ms. Moyes. I'm happy to see multiple perspectives without the historical bits with this one. I laughed a little, I cried a little, and I loved the characters.
Jess is a single mom with two kids. Ed is a recently divorced fellow that makes some really stupid choices...but we all make mistakes sometimes. And that's really what this book is about -- the choices we make and how there are repercussions no matter how large or small the act is at the time.

I am so pleased to have discovered Jojo Moyes. This author elevates the genre of "chick lit" to whole new levels with interesting characters, great story lines and enough twists and turns that you really aren't quite sure HOW things will end.

It took way too long for me to really care about any of these characters (except the kids) and even then...meh. This one just really didn't do it for me.
