This genre isn't for me. I read romance novels nonstop in high school and college. I would have eaten this up back then. It's always the same...glamorous guy and a plain, non descript book smart woman who somehow still catches the eye of the man, except this time the guy also has trauma from his childhood (ala Fifty Shades Series) and the girl has a "dirty" witty mouth. What's not to like about that fantasy? Except I can't get past the either long summarized passages or the cliched dialogue. He'
