i was approved for this book through netgalley at a time when i had a bunch of books i had to read for that program i read for, and right before i went home for easter. i brought three "littry" books with me, and this one on my NOOK, thinking vacation = lots of reading time, and i could plow through all of them no problem.

I didn't realize that this was the first book in a series before I read this, and I'm glad I didn't know, because throughout the book I was thoroughly confused about the identity of the killer, often thinking that it might BE Helen Grace....but I guess if she's the star of the series, it wouldn't be her, so that could have saved me some time.
