Really enjoyed this book.
I loved the style of storytelling, the short chapters with single word titles was very effective.
I love that it was set in modern Nairobi, which felt both familiar (Snapchat, WhatsApp) but also unfamiliar (different food, culture).
I think the book could have gone a bit longer, would have liked an extra chapter or two, but I was still satisfied with where it ended up.

The story was really interesting and unique, and I like Braithwaite's concise writing style. But it lacked tension throughout most of the book, which meant that I didn't get totally engrossed.
