I've never read a book like The Fifth Season.
The story follows multiple characters, and includes a second person POV, which I rarely like. I think the second person POV and the sheer amount of new vocabulary put me off at first, but it only took me a few chapters to really enjoy this book.
I really enjoyed how much happened in this book, and the mystery of trying to figure out how it all occurred was so fun.
The concept of orogeny is interesting, and reminds me of Earthbenders from A:TLA. I rea ...more

Best fantasy that I've read in a really long time. Incredibly interesting world, great plot twist and really well written. Great stuff.
