I am not normally a reader of science fiction - I find hard sci-fi difficult to follow and soft sci-fi makes me want to stab my eyes out with a pen. But this is a massive exception.
The Three-body Problem is a beautifully written book that covers extremely interesting ideas, and does it in a way that is very captivating.
