I really enjoyed reading this classic novel. The story was very familiar to me having seen a very good film adaption a few years ago. I was hoping that the book would fill in some extra detail that was not included in the film but honestly the plot hits all the same points moving at a very fast pace. Saying that, the book spent a lot more time with some of the great side characters that the film did not include.
