Where do I begin with my review of this ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL novel? Ah, I know. With a warning: do not finish reading it in public. I did, and I'm not sure what was worse - the tears pouring down my face or the strange contortions I made my face into to avoid those tears. (Fail.)

This is not a quick read. It took me about a month to finish it. I really loved the characters, constantly felt sad, and cried at the end.
It is, however, a wonderful book. Markus Zusak really paints the characters and death as the narrator is a very unique perspective.
All in all, an enjoyable read. Excuse me while I find something really light and fluffy to read next.
