I really liked the story, because the way things happened lead to some pretty interesting conversations and situations, where Wanda wanted to do completely different things then Melanie did. I also liked the fact that this is the only science-fiction novel with creatures invading the earth that ever showed the alien perspective on things, which was pretty interesting as well.
