HOLY MOTHER OF CLIFFHANGERS.
I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THESE SERIES AND CHARACTERS.
The writing it's just beautiful, like reading poetry. The only flaws in these books can be the slow pace and lack of interactions between the characters. But their relationships are so beautiful and realistic, they make you realize the importance of having people who are interested in your well being.

Re-read 4/11/2016. This book is a masterpiece. The writing is brilliant. The characters are heart warming. The story is refreshing.
I loved this is so much, I want to start reading it again!!

The Best book in the Raven Cycle series so far!
Loved Stiefvater's writing style, the pace of the book and the characters were of course my favorite.

First of all, I would like to note that this is easily my least favorite of the series thus far, but it was still amazing.

I will not continue to repeat myself on how much I love these characters, but I do have some notable things I'd like to mention:

•Adam's character changes a lot. He really came full circle, and he honestly made me change my mind about not liking him. He actually made me consider moving him closer to the top of my list of Raven boys.

Seriously awesome book. Love the writing. But this series... at this rate it's going to need another 7 books to wrap all this up. Obviously that is an exaggeration but still... how will Blue ever kiss Gansey! Also those cliff hangers... tisk, tisk. Another year is all I have to wait. Yikes... another year! ...more

I have to say I was really excited to see how this book turned out after TDT and I am so happy to see that it was exactly what I wanted!

Once again, I´m finished and I don´t want to be. I´m writing a review and I find it way too difficult to communicate my feelings. I want to cry just because I´m writing a review, which means I will now be waiting another year for the fourth installment and then it´s all over. And you don´t want to be anywhere near me when this is all over. So..

I now beseech Maggie to make the last book at least 700 pages long. PRETTY PLEASE!!!

Pride and Prejudice and the Harry Potter series are the only other books apart from the Raven Cycle that I´ve ever felt such a connection with. And the need to read thousands and thousands of pages of those. It would make me so happy if the fourth book had at least five hundred :D This one was way too short!

To the actual review, right.. It´s impossible to describe something that can simply not be described while giving it the credit it deserves to get. The reasons I love the Raven Cycle are simple - it´s the writing, first and foremost. Beautiful, magical, the diction´s amazing (especially in the case of Gansey...you know it :D), the sarcasm is smart and funny, each character has their own voice and there is a distinction - so Maggie does not do what many have done before - the characters don´t blend. Each one has a distinct voice, they have their own dreams and wishes, ways to think. And I love each and every one of them. Even Adam. Yes, he has indeed redeemed himself in this book and it makes me happy. Even happier so, when some of the apologetic things he said/thought made me go "ah, now you see you were an asshole! Good.." :D That was my second reason, the characters, they´re all so lovable, believable, real and yet enchantingly unreal. If that makes any sense. It´s also the story - it has me sitting on the edge of a chair, waiting for what´s going to happen next. And when it´s all done, I start to make up theories about the probable outcome. So Maggie really has me thinking hard right now, as I´m trying to figure out the conclusion to all this. And this happened after every single book. I had my theories after each one, well..none of them came true :D Because Maggie is an expert at giving you wrong clues. At making you follow a path that leads nowhere only to show you another one later - and that´s the one you should´ve taken. But how were you supposed to know, right? My theories always seem quite solid. And now I have a YEAR to focus on them. Again, makes me want to cry. Those seven hundred pages, Maggie, pleeeeeaasee? To compensate the year-long suffering :)

One more thing - the Blue and Gansey storyline. Yes, it gets frustrating. And I found myself wanting things during this book and when they didn´t happen by the end of the book, I realized something. Of course they didn´t. It wouldn´t be Blue and Gansey if the did. That´s what makes them my favorite book couple. Because it´s those tiny otherwise insignificant moments that make them incredible. Secret touches, hugs that make your heart warm even when they´re had under terrible circumstances, phone calls.. AND never would I have thought that eating yoghurt could be made magical. Kudos, Maggie. I am happy with the way things are and I can´t wait to see this story unfold in the end.

Now, to add spoilers. Sort of. I sincerely hope that the premise of this story does not come true in the end. In some clever way. If it does, I will be devastated. And what the hell is the third sleeper?! Creeping me out. Again, how am I supposed to wait for another YEAR! ...more

Really enjoyed some of the key plot points in this one and where the story went. I loved how it set up the final book as well. I did feel a little lost at times but I’m sure it was just me since I got a little distracted while reading this. There is so much going on that you really need to be focused on whats happening on every page or you’ll get lost quick!
