I don't know why it took me so long to read this; I've had it on my Kindle for probably a year and a half, now, and I read it in 30 minutes.

A good conversation-starter, though Adichie's perpetuation of the gender binary was problematic to me. I had expected more from this book, but that may be because of its continued hype.

This was just a printout of a lecture she gave. It took probably 30 min to read. Not that interesting, actually somewhat boring. She doesn't like to be treated as a 2nd class citizen in her country - then don't go there, change things or stop whining. The book was 4 x 6. Really - what was it's drawing point that put it on this list?
