This book was incredible and make me cry a lot. In a dystopian Sweden, the dispensable--those without children or critically needed work who are 50 (female) and 60 (men) years old--are sent to a unit, where they undergo medical experiments and their organs are gradually "donated" to indispensable people in the country who need them.
