What can I say? I have a deep love and connection with the works of Haruki Murakami, especially considering how long I've had this relationship with him. This is a very difficult book to read and it's one where Murakami is really pouring on so many delicate layers, completely all interconnected, and yet it takes its dear sweet time to build. However, this isn't the slow build that doesn't have pay off in the end, which is why this a book worth sticking with.
