The fifth star is withheld only because the main character insists 130ish pounds is fat. This irked me the entire time. As for the rest of the material in this book, I am glad I didn't read it in public because of all of my uproarious laughter. I grew up reading the Confessions of Georgia Nicholson, and Bridget is basically a grown-up more neurotic version of her. Maybe it's because I am American, but I find English slang hilarious. All in all, a very enjoyable book. ...more

A fun and easy read/listen, with a great narrator.
