What Members Thought
I was almost completely certain I would like this book. My general advice to myself when I don't know what to read is, "read something by Octavia Butler," and it's good advice for me. I love her ideals, and I love her imagination. And I was craving something sci-fi, which I felt like I hadn't read as much of this year.

Probably closer to a 3.5; I didn't really care for the focus on the Earthseed dogma, but I want to read on to see what happens!
