Räddaren i nöden kan först verka vara en bok om en skoltrött, självupptagen grabb som dräller på stan. Men ju längre berättelsen går desto mer förstår man att det inte riktigt är så enkelt. Att det tar tid att förstå är för att berättaren och protagonisten inte vill låtsas om sina känslor eller problem i någon större utsträckning, men efter ett par ”vet inte” eller ”bryr mig inte” och svordomar så låter han till slut sina verkliga känslor komma fram. A book where the characters really do bounce off the pages. Holden is a character that you can see in others you may have known through school (though hopefully only in small instances, and not completely) and you read on, almost waiting for the train wreck to happen.

I really wish this had been a book set in school so we all could have discussed it.
