click here.I thought this installment was just as enjoyable as Late Eclipses. It's great to see Toby connecting with her family and y'know, remembering that she has a daughter. The whole book was jammed packed with action and the pace was perfect.Some of the subplots felt a touch tacked on at times, but it did make sense as to why they needed to be there. Parts of this book were so depressing, especially Conner's death. I felt terrible for Gillian having to make a choice between the fae and humans, and whiI thought this installment was just as enjoyable as Late Eclipses. I felt terrible for Gillian having to make a choice between the fae and humans, and while I knew exactly which choice she was going to make, it was pretty heartbreaking to read Toby's reaction. She knows it had to be done, it's just difficult to accept.
This series is showing constant growth and I find myself disappointed knowing I now have to wait awhile to get the next book. Highly recommended....more
