A gripping story with a super cool setting. Really interesting from a perspective of modern history of ideas. It is obvious why it has influenced so much modern science fiction. It was a fun and interesting read that I didn't want to put down.
I did however find it a bit hard to look past the depressingly gender stereotypical and/or sexist character writing. I know it's from another time and I do try to forgive literature for being written in another social climate, but this one did man ...more
