This book was one in which I had no idea where it was going to go throughout most of it. The surprises were pleasant, the quotes were exceptionally quotable, and every so often Gaiman has this magically way of pulling me into his stories, no matter how subtle they may be. Outside of his children's novels, this one may be my favourite. Subtle, eerie, great narration, lots to love about this book.
