I was super hyped to read this as it seems like it's one of the most popular high fantasy series out there. I was soon disappointed. Apart from the characters being unrelatable I also can not understand how any fantasy fan can read this without being annoyed with the blunt story stealing from The Lord of the Rings. There is a not so fine line between paying tribute and copy-pasting.
