Review: THE HAUNTING OF BLACKWOOD HOUSE by Darcy Coates

Wow wow and wow. My "go-to author" of horror has delivered again! Commencing with an uproarious (scary!) Reader's hook, we are then allowed to take a breath and relax, for a while. The Haunting of Blackwood House was a pretty suspenseful ghost story, though I figured out early on how it would all end, I still found it enjoyable. Darcy Coates weaves a spine-tingling story about a woman named Mara who buys her first house, only to discover it is haunted. Raised by spiritualists, Mara has sworn off all things paranormal.
