"My Life on the Road" é uma retomada histórica da luta feminista com passagens da vida de Gloria Steinem. Tal mescla é importantíssima porque Glória conta como suas raízes a ajudaram a ser a pessoa que lutaria pelos ideais não somente das mulheres, mas dos negros, da comunidade LGBT e de todos os oprimidos e ignorados. O mais interessante do livro é que Glória conta os primórdios do movimento feminista nos EUA e acompanhamos as vitórias do movimento complementados com as histórias e o desenvolvi ...more

The book is absolutely inspirational! Gloria writes about so many of her great experiences on the road. I learnt a lot, but now I am feeling the urgency of learning from other people as much as she did. Life is a journey and we have to learn how to live in a community, wherever we go.
There are so many great lessons learnt. I have made so many quotations! One of my favoutires say "Always look at what people do, not what they are". ...more
