I want to apologize to my buddy read buddy, Liz. I sort of got carried away and finished this on the same day I started it. We also live in different time zones so it's likely she hasn't even started it yet.
I feel bad.

But also I don't because MAN WAS THAT AMAZING!!!! IT JUST GETS BETTER AND BETTER EACH TIME I READ IT!!!

This series has such a special place in my heart ♥

I'm glad that this series is going to be the movie! Yay! It change the name to 'Blood Sister' The casting for Rose is Perfect! I like Rose. She is kick-ass. The suspense in this book is enjoyable, but maybe I read Romantic Suspense books too much so that I can guess who is the person who set up the bad stuff! See. My. Fault. lol!

And people raving about this book saying how much they 'loved this series and it was their all favorite series' really ruined this book for me. I despise hype.

So Richelle Meads newer books seem to be more of a hit for me, then her 'vampire' books are just not that great and yes last year I read Bloodlines a spin off to this series. And to be honest I liked Soundless and The Glittering Court a lot more then I do with these books sad thing is I have the entire Vampire Academy series and the entire And people raving about this book saying how much they 'loved this series and it was their all favorite series' really ruined this book for me. And to be honest I liked Soundless and The Glittering Court a lot more then I do with these books sad thing is I have the entire Vampire Academy series and the entire Bloodlines series and I will attempt to power through books two and three in Vampire Academy the simple thing is I don't like these characters and I'll hate read this series if I have to.

The only good vampire books I read where by Julie Kagawa The Immortal Rules and I enjoyed them these however have much to be desired. Oh Vampire Academy loves to add the whole 'insta love' down our throat. I cant help but feel that the synopsis is a little misleading, but I make it no secret that I couldn't give two shits about any characters here not one.
