Fast-paced and exciting. The action starts on page one and never lets up. I’m a Ruth Ware fan and this one didn’t disappoint. Jack, a Pen Tester, something I’d never heard, is on the run, pursued by police for a murder she didn’t commit. I rated this book as a 3.5 ⭐️⭐️
There were a lot of flaws in this book and some areas that flatly didn’t work for me. The next question, is then, why did I give it 4 stars? Overall, I found the plot interesting and fairly fast paced. Unlike some reviewers, I liked the main character. I found the idea of pens (penetrators) and software hacking very complicated, but fascinating. We hear everyday about another virus, trojan, company hacked, ransomware, and personal tragedies caused by these computer ...more
