I’ve really enjoyed reading the latest few Vera Stanhope mysteries, so I decided to go back and start at the beginning. The Crow Trap is different, in that Vera doesn’t make an appearance until 43% of the book is done. I read this because I enjoyed the author's Shetland series. I have to say this one is a little disappointing. I may try to find the TV show Vera, that might spark more interest since it was the TV show Shetland that led me to the books.
