Ugh. Heroine literally groomed herself to be Hero's wifey. I absolutely 💯 hated her. Her goal in life was to be a ranchers wife, specifically Blake's wife. She took classes in college to better assist her ranch wife goals. Agricultural classes, animal husbandry classes, topless pole dancing instructions (you know to keep her ranching husband interested), whatever classes that helped her to be able to cook and clean up after 9 or more people....I have no idea what else but and I actually mean BUT ...more

Sooo... the book fits a couple of challenges and here I am...

Jaxi has always known Blake is the one but with the 10-years age gap between them, she wonders if he's ever going to see her as a woman. She's 21 now and she's putting her battle plan into action.

Ever since Blake noticed that Jaxi is no longer the little girl who trailed him around the ranch, he's been avoiding being in a situation where it's just the two of them. He's too old for her & she deserves someone younger, someone in her age

6 gorgeous brothers...a ranch... lots of "fun" and drama.
I didn't like the way Matt&Ellen bits were inserted throughout Blake&Jax story.
It was annoying and confusing.
Even so...I enjoyed most of the book so it's a 3 stars read for me.
Favorite part?
The bonus chapter with Blake and Jax's first interaction...Jax was adorable^.^
