I really struggled on what rating to give this book because it was amazingly written and I truly enjoyed it, but it was such an emotional journey for me. My father passed away from early onset Alzheimers last year and struggled through the disease for 12 years. Also I did not completely like where the book ended but for story purposes it was great. Just I know there is alot more coming from this disease. I highly recommend for anyone who has a loved one diagnosed especially with early onset. I'm ...more

Alice Howard is a cognitive psychology professor at Harvard. Alice notices her memory is not like it use and starts to forget how to do everything things so she goes to see a Neurologist. She is told she has the early onset of Alzheimer. Told in Alice's voice this book gives you a scary look into the life of someone is slowly losing their way of life as the Alzheimer creeps in their mind. Heartbreaking and very real look.
