A twenty-minute Shadespire audio drama from David Guymer, A Place of Reflection sets a story about identity, memory and purpose in the Mirrored City, with Moribus of the Sons of Mallus on the hunt for an elusive foe and thinking back to the various deaths he’s suffered since his forging.

All the ingredients are here for a tense, creepy story, but it's let down by an over-reliance on narration and a bit of a flat plot. It’s not bad per se, just uninspiring.

Chilling and mind-boggling.

I really appreciated having a closer look into what being in Shadespire is like. The unravelling of time, the mental degradation, and the despair. Seeing what this sort of environment can do to a Stormcast, a warrior of Sigmar, is interesting.
