This book feels curiously dated I'm not sure why that is Both the main protagonist, who are authors,, one successful, the other struggling are unlikable characters as are the others in the book, apart from one child with, I think , mild learning disability who is quite sweet. One of the 1001 books to read before you die. I don't think it would be included now if they redid the list. ...more
