This was a rather enjoyable book. The characters were relatable and likable. While I can usually pick the culprit out by the first few chapter this kept me only toes. Which is refreshing for me. If I could have changed one thing it would have been to use better and more details descriptions of the characters early on. I say this because it took a bit for me envision these characters. Another TikTok/Author rec that’s kinda missing the mark rn. I honestly couldn’t even make it through the prologue due to writing style. The first sentence of the book was “once upon a time” and it very much read as “once upon a time” if that makes sense. It just felt far too whimsical??? Or like Disney narrator??
