A weak second installment. It was just interesting enough to continue and finish. Purely the last page before the epilogue bumped this from a 2.5 to a 3.

That was so not a way to end a book! Like my goodness!
Honestly - I loved the first 200 pages or so! I mean I was glued in! And then I felt the middle 300 odd pages were slow paced. Not very invested. But the last 100 pages were amazing again!
