This is a book I had been waiting to read for a while, but was waiting for it to become available. I found it on KU and pounced on it and wow it was worth– worth enough I might be buying this one some day. I adore Jamie and Ryan. The absolute cutest couple ever. I laughed, I sighed– in annoyance and adoration, and shook my head in disappointment. This book had me feeling all kinds of emotions.

I'm just getting out of a reading slump, and this book was a guaranteed slump-buster for me. I'm a pretty big hockey fan, so hockey player romance? Sign me up!

Am I new to the m/m genre? No. Having read "Hushed" by Kelley York and "Broken Pieces" by Riley Hart, as well as Idunno a TON of fanfics, there was nothing that I'd consider new about this genre. So I don't consider this book very steamy either, it just contained explicit content. The fact that there is a warning about the 'skinnydipping' really made me laugh though, considering everything else.

Started out hot with the promise of scorching hot angst... but then it all just petered out into barely mediocre blah. It was all just too easy because the authors left the harder parts up on a shelf, unexplored.
