I missed this author, but...

Ok, so maybe I'm a bit disappointed of the start of this series. Maybe I expected more...

It was an ok read, nothing special really. Although yes, the plot is interesting (I like the detective plots), and there's some potential in the characters, but overall, it didn't really click for me.

Worth reading? If you're read the rest of the series, then yes. If not, then start with the previous books, they are better.

The Warped series is different from Spellbound and Demonized in a few ways: It has a co-author – Rob Jacobsen. It has a male main character. It’s more like a magic police procedural series. But it’s similar in the most important way: it’s so much fun!! I love Kit and his constant movie references (even if I probably haven’t seen half the movies he references). Kit’s magic is fascinating, and I also really like his back-and-forth with Lienna. Can’t wait to see how their relationship develops – bo ...more

I wasn't sure how I would feel about this one and it did take me quite a while to get into it, but by the end I was bummed the sequel wasn't out yet. This is going to be an interesting look at this world. ...more

Good start to this spin off series. I enjoyed learning more about Kit and his powers. Its neat having a psychic as the MC in this one, quite a different look at the world. I appreciated the cameos of some other characters from the other series as well.
Kit is an interesting MC who hasn't had the easiest of lives. He has a different way of looking at the world because of this. His pop culture references were mostly entertaining as well.
I enjoyed it a lot, and look forward to the next one. I will

I never got round to reading all the Guild Codex series when they came out (I know completely shocking of me!) and now I have 20 books or so on my Kindle, I thought I would read them in the suggested order where the different series are mixed in with each other.

I loved this book and Kit Morris was a great main character. He was funny, witty, sarcastic and had the most intriguing and amazing psychica power! He was pretty hot too! When the guild Kit belonged gets disbanded and he is picked up by t

This was enjoyable enough. Still a lot of snark and I really liked Kit. Things happened here that just didn't make a lot of sense just to force a dialog and that always annoys me, but I still enjoyed the characters enough to keep reading. ...more

Another good addition to the world, glad there will still be more stories even after Tori's story line wraps up in the fall. I liked Kit and his nemesis. ...more
