What an unexpected read!

It's hard to find an original dystopian subject (I mean, cm'on, after-apocalypse world, bad stuff, good chick/guy who saves the (new) world in the end). But this one I haven't seen before.
Even more than the good plot, it was well written. I loved the characters and, like in all stories, I like it when the MC isn't that all-powerful and when he/she needs help.

Yeah, there were some small problems here and there, but it was a pretty good read, can't wait to see what happens ...more

Prior to starting, but after I already decided to read it, I read a lot of negative reviews about City of Light. The synopsis was also interesting but not something I would have regularly chose if it was not recommended. Seeing people so upset with the 'many plot holes' and other things made me wary.

I thought the story was good and I liked Tiger. I read this because I enjoyed the Riley Jenson series she wrote. I was especially happy when I finished and saw that the next book is supposed to be out in November so I won't have to wait an entire year to find out what happens next.
