What an unexpected read!


It's hard to find an original dystopian subject (I mean, cm'on, after-apocalypse world, bad stuff, good chick/guy who saves the (new) world in the end). But this one I haven't seen before.

Even more than the good plot, it was well written. I loved the characters and, like in all stories, I like it when the MC isn't that all-powerful and when he/she needs help.


Yeah, there were some small problems here and there, but it was a pretty good read, can't wait to see what happens

Prior to starting, but after I already decided to read it, I read a lot of negative reviews about City of Light. The synopsis was also interesting but not something I would have regularly chose if it was not recommended. Seeing people so upset with the 'many plot holes' and other things made me wary.

My advice, don't listen to that, also don't listen to the audiobook if you have the choice. The experience of reading the book saved it for me, but not because it was poorly written, just because the

I thought the story was good and I liked Tiger. I read this because I enjoyed the Riley Jenson series she wrote. I was especially happy when I finished and saw that the next book is supposed to be out in November so I won't have to wait an entire year to find out what happens next. ...more
