This book has been on my tbr for like... 10 years or so? And boy, am I glad that I finally picked it up.
This is one of the best classic fantasy books I have read, the world building is SUPERB, the characters are intriguing and layered, the intrigue is captivating and THE WRITING.
The writing is so beautiful I am at loss for words. Robin Hobb really is a masterful writer, and I cannot wait to read through all of her books!
