Lots of interesting things happen in this one, and it features one of my favorite characters in the series.
Another winner. Patricia really weaves wonderful stories.
Mercy and Adam have gotten so close and comfortable with each other. It’s really nice.

I've been doing a series reread of Mercy and Alpha& Omega interleaving the series with their timeline in the Mercyverse I almost gave up the first third of the way through - the Mercy books got to feel a bit formulaic for a while (kidnapping, mind control happened a lot) and one of the A&O books made me kind of mad. For some reason, this one is always hard for me to remember. But I always enjoy it when I read/listen to it. I'm getting to be a big fan of Sherwood and love where his story is going. I also really love the addition of Larry, king of the goblins. Such a great name for a king.

I loved this book! I love Mercy and Adam and their pack. I loved the way the epic battle scene went and what Mercy did. I loved the ending. This one is one of the best, I think. As long as Patricia Briggs keeps writing these, I'll keep reading! Rated PG 13 at least.
