The interesting twisty reveal at the end will have me rereading it in the not-too-distant future.
I can't believe I hadn't read a Mercy book since 2017. Wow have I missed this world. So well done and interesting to see what things look like on the European side. We learnt so much more about the Vampires and why Marsilia, Stephan and Wulfe came to the New World. Also being in the Old World allowed us to meet a slew of new characters many of whom were rather fascinating.

It has been a while since I read a book in this series, for no real reason, but this one definitely reminded me why I loved it! This book was utterly fantastic and full of tension, emotion and pure magic! I loved that we got to see both of the main characters, Mercy and Adam's, sides of what was going on, especially as they were so far apart for most of this book.
