3 stars - I liked it, with nits - this is an older book so it might have been one of the earlier multithreaded stories that follows several characters. I found it slow to get going because it takes a bit to get all the players on the board and I actually found the lead character to be the least interesting of the bunch. While I really liked the brother that was fostered on another world and thought that was the best fleshed out of the whole cast. So for me the story didn't get rolling until all
